Barge Landing, Palmetto Bluff | 2017

Using white as an anchor for all the pops of blue, green and gold, Libby Baker Speight of Baker Design Co. was able to reflect the surrounding tidal environment into the interior décor. While Court Atkins Architects where able to create a home and space that flows from each room to the next with transitions one can hardly notice or expect. The use of reclaimed wood in this amazing home creates texture and interest unlike any other, while still infusing modern and lowcountry elements throughout.

Pinckney Colony Road, Bluffton | 2018

The owners saw a diamond in the rough when it came to this amazing home on the river. The location was the main draw were able to transform this dated, 30 year old three story home into the lowcountry river house of their dreams. Every square inch of this home has a purpose, from the comfy study lounge nestled in the dining room to the kids play area in the upstairs landing where everything has a place. Modern conveniences and lush furnishings combine to bring both elegance and warmth. Walk outside on the full length second story deck with multiple living spaces and you can easily see why this place is so special.

In this home drawn by Historical Concepts, it truly encompasses daily living on the coast. With an open concept main floor, plenty of custom detail and a view of the gorgeous surroundings, this home is near perfect. The colors are calming and vibrant all at once, a wonderful combination by interior design firm J.Banks Design.
